What's New On HULU May 2020

Hulu has been stuck in the third-place position when it comes to movie streaming behind Netflix and Amazon Prime because most people still see them strictly as a home for next-day television. May 2020 will see Hulu add a number of notable new films and TV shows. A few major highlights include last year’s award-winning Elton John biopic   Rocketman , Rashaad Ernesto Green’s critical darling   Premature , and Matt Wolf’s documentary   Spaceship Earth . Viewers may also want to leave space in their queue for Charlize Theron’s spin on   Aeon Flux , Danny Boyle’s oft-forgotten rom-com  A Life Less Ordinary , David Duchovny’s directorial debut  House of D , and the first two entries in Christopher Nolan’s  The Dark Knight Trilogy . Oh, and there’s a little mob movie called  Goodfellas . Even though basically everything in Hollywood is on pause right now amid the coronavirus economic shutdown, there are still a lot of shows that got made before social distancing went into effect, and they’re coming out now. Original television series and movies coming to the platform in May include the second season of  Homecoming   and  Greg Daniels' new series  Upload  as well as films like  Seberg , starring Kristen Stewart, director Andrew Patterson's sci-fi film  The Vast of Night   and the star-studded book adaptation  The Goldfinch .
